Hello all, here we are at the end of our Genius Hour project. What an enjoyable and sometimes difficult journey this was ! I am a glad to say that I was able to have fun and rediscover the kid in me that liked to build and take apart things with motors. While building the simple motor, it inspired me to ask more questions and seek more answers by experimenting with the build and the materials. We are never too old to play, to discover and to learn! This project was a good reminder that sometimes we need to push ourselves outside of our comfort zone to grow. For me, the TED Talk was the biggest challenge to overcome, and I am proud that I got through it! If I were to do it over, I would use a variable power supply as oppose to a battery. This would make it easier to see the different results when changing the voltage.
